What is FIRBA?FIRBA is an acroym for Forum on International Relations and Business Affairs. It is a student organization at the College of Business at the Universtiy of Texas Pan Amercian that promotes a supplemental education in global activities.
Importance of International BusinessIn order to ensure survival, an organization must prepare itself for the globalization of business. The most dynamic growth and the best job and investment opportunities are often with companies that operate worldwide. Even domestic companies are often affected by international conditions. Thus, everyone should have some knowledge of the global economy.
How can FIRBA help you?The purpose of the organization is to (1) facilitate a better understanding of international business, (2) emphasize the difference between business within the domestic and international context, (3) expose the student body to the benefits and rewards of the study and practice of international business.
